Lesson Options

SING & PLAY FOR TODDLERS:

45-minute weekly Music & Movement classes for 0-5 year old children attending with their parent(s) and/or caregiver. Classes include singing, musical instruments, and props that encourage your child’s development in music, language, small motor skills, and creative movement. 18 classes per school year are offered on Saturday mornings through the Davis Community Education program. Free classes are available during the summer at the Farmington Library. Please inquire.

SING & PLAY THE PIANO:

60-minute group lessons for young beginners, 5-8 years old. Lessons includes singing & drumming, along with other classroom instruments. Group games teach musicianship skills. Students also have time at the lesson to learn to play the songs they have been singing on a digital piano with headphones.

Parents observe the last 10 minutes of class. 3-4 students per class, usually with an assistant teacher. 38 lessons per year.

PIANO PROGRESS:

60-minute weekly group lesson for all levels, ages 7 and up. 3-4 students per group, usually with an assistant teacher. Individual learning on separate keyboards with headphones. The digital learning program, Piano Marvel, along with other piano method approaches are available. 38 lessons per year.

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS:

30, 45, and 60-minute private lessons are available for advancing students, as well as for or for students who do not have a group available to them.
